The Florida Gastroenterologic Society's Annual Meeting is the leading event for GI professionals in the state of Florida. FGS is joined with members of the SGNA to enhance the full spectrum of individuals working in the gastroenterology field. The introduction and advances of innovative diagnostic techniques and novel therapeutics has created an exciting range of approaches to many important areas of GI disease and patient care. This program is designed to address those compelling and controversial areas in the care of patients with gastrointestinal disease. During this course, multiple topics will be covered include: dietary therapy in patients with eosinophilic esophagitis, emerging therapies in fatty liver disease, the future of therapeutic endoscopy, endoscopic resection of defiant/complex colon polyps, new liver transplant allocation system, and much more. The structure of the program includes a mix of didactic presentations delivered by expert faculty, interactive audience discussions as well as significant question and answer opportunities.

The program is designed for gastroenterologists, gastroenterology trainees, primary care physicians, nurses, physician assistants and nurse practitioners interested in the latest information on diagnostic GI and state of the art treatment of these illnesses.

EUS-ENDO Marseille

Therapeutic EUS for Advanced Practicing Endosonographers

This two-day course has been developed to provide a comprehensive overview of therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) that will take the practicing endosonographers from theory to the hands-on practice of EUS, while discussing and demonstrating the fine points of the procedure. Attendees will be exposed to everything regarding equipment, technical aspects, diagnostic utility, therapeutic uses, and general role of EUS in the care of patients with gastrointestinal and non-gastrointestinal disorders.

5th Annual Orlando Live EUS 2017

There are five components to the EUS Live Overview Course to provide participants a comprehensive education in endosconography: (a) live cases demonstrating the technique of endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) procedures (b) Didactic lectures focusing on disease management and procedural techniques (c) literature update providing latest information on research (d) self-assessment video quiz assessing knowledge base and (e) hands-on lab teaching EUS techniques in models.
